Albuquerque is both New Mexico's largest city and a place garnering more and more interest from investors and entrepreneurs. This may have to do in part with the easy of setting up shop. Albuquerque requires relatively few business licenses and makes the application process relatively simple. Additionally, the city keeps regulatory costs low as does New Mexico. In the past decade, Albuquerque had become home to a number of high-tech firms and start-ups. In addition it has light manufacturing and a growing arts community.
